This pop-up cinema hire is available with lots of different packages, too.
This also goes well with our slush machines, and we can source hotdog vending, popcorn machines and candyfloss, too.
The screen size is a staggering 16 foot. We have the technology available to enable you to play your blu-rays, DVD's, USB media and virtually any other device on the large screen! We even have a super conductive, ultra-long HDMI cable that's 40 metres long, allowing you to plug the projector into your Sky box or Virgin box. Imagine having your friends round to watch the Football or Rugby on your own cinema screen!
As well as playing your own movies (or maybe even your Xbox or PS4!), we have a Single Title Screening License. This means that we're able to legally screen "early release" movies at a cost. This is normally reserved for our own hosted events, but if you're interested in putting on a show, then get in touch and we can discuss the cost. These early release movies are not out on DVD, and only just recently out at the cinema (think airline movies).
The projector is state-of-the-art, and so powerful that it even works in early evening brightness. It's always more effective the darker it becomes. It's 6500 lumens bright, which is more than 3 times as powerful than the most expensive, top of the range home cinema projector on the market. Even during evening/dusk conditions, the pop-up cinema is bright enough to provide a decent picture quality.
Worried about the noise of the fan? Not a problem... We include a specialist acoustic hood for the blower/fan that reduces all noise from
the fan to an absolute minimum!
The pop-up cinema is available to hire in Bexley, Welling, Sidcup, Bexleyheath, Dartford and all surrounding areas in Kent.
The pop-up cinema always comes with two 600 watt loud speakers. These speakers are designed to be sufficient for audiences of up to 400 people.
The projector used must be positioned approx. 19 foot/5.5 metres (dependant on level/gradient of the surface) away from the screen, centered to the middle of the screen itself.
The inflatable screen is 15 foot wide and 13 foot tall (providing a 16 foot diagonal screen). We have to anchor the screen (if used outside), and require a space of 20 foot width (although the more the better) to securely anchor it. This can be shortened if there is a steady structure to tie the screen to, such as garden concrete posts. This does not apply to inside venues.
The projector comes in a water-proof stand, and will house the media player (bluray, xbox, PS4 etc) as well.
We provide all the water-proof leads required to set-up the pop-up cinema, but it's important to note that:
- The inflatable screen and speakers can be a maximum of 50 metres/164 foot away from a power source.
- The projector can be a maximum of 50 metres/164 foot away from a power source
- The projector must be approx. 5.5 metres/19 foot away from the screen itself, centered to the screen.
We're able to provide a 40 metre HDMI cable that is truly state-of-the-art for it's length. This lead can be used to play your sky, virgin, Freeview or other set-top-box device straight from your premises to the projector. The lead is oxygen free and the most impressive technical engineered lead for HDMI technology to date. We only use this lead if you need to run the projector from a live device (such as Sky or Virgin boxes, this is normally for licensed pubs or home screenings of sports events). Please note that the projector can only be a maximum of 25 metres away from the Virgin/Freeview/sky box if this is the media player you need to use.
It's safe to use the pop-up cinema in the rain. Strong winds however could ruin your experience.
